Father's Day 2011

This boy loves his Daddy and it's because Scotty is such a great one!! These two are best buds and pretty much inseparable from the time Scotty walks through the door from work!!

Tanner and Austin love to meet up after school to play and have lunch. This day they each told Mrs. Trudy they were going to Chic-fil-A and they also got in the car and told me and Marci the other mom asked if they could go!! Little schemers!!! So cute though!!

He was very into Pirates this year and nothing else would do but a pirate costume!! I tried to draw him some facial hair, but he wasn't having it!! But at least he let me snap this cute pic!! And his poor little ear was so red and swollen :(

Trick or Treating at Granna & Pa's house.

Tanner has only ever been to church for Halloween and this was his first year to really go door to door. He decided after the first house he could do it by himself so here he goes up to the second door....and what meets him at the door? A grown man wearing a Scream mask!!!! The picture was taken as the door was opening and Tanner sees the mask and he's turning to run back down the sidewalk to me. He was ruined after that!! He didn't wanna trick or treat anymore!!! Bless his heart!! It really scared him!!

So Daddy and Pa had to go up to each door with him the rest of the night. I made the mistake of telling Tanner that if anybody scared him, he could just "stab" them with his pirate sword....thankfully it was plastic and this nice lady was a good sport!!

Most of the time he was just burried in somebody's shoulder!!

And of course we had to go through the loot as soon as we got back to Granna & Pa's!!

Annie Kate's Family Shower

I'm really NOT loving all the new changes on Blogger, but oh well, not much I can do about it!! It's making my pictures do crazy things and centering them wrong and now I've got all this space at the top and can't figure out how to fix it!!! Ugh!!! Enough of that -- let me get on with this post!! On October 29th I had my very first shower for Annie Kate given by my Mom and sister at Parkway Baptist Church. It was so fun to hang out with all our family and everybody was so sweet to give us so much stuff for this little girl.

My Dad made these centerpieces!!

My sister had this great idea for everybody at the shower to write Annie Kate a note and keep it in this box for her until she's older!! I've been good and not peeked, but I can't wait to see what they say!!

My cousin, Judy, is really into making cakes and she's really good at it too. My sister asked her if she would make the cake for my shower and she agreed. She used these sweet baby shoes and headband as the topper!! Soooo sweet!!
