This year for Easter we went to Jackson to spend time with our families. We stayed at my parent's house, had an Egg Hunt at Aunt Patsy's on Saturday, went to church and an Egg Hunt at Granny's on Sunday. It was jam-packed with lots of fun and memories we'll cherish forever.
Tanner watching a show while I packed our suitcase.
When I get everything packed, I set it by the door until Scotty gets home to help me load up. Tanner got quiet and I found Tanner sneaking around the diapers and playing with the water bottle.

Friday night when we got to Mom & Dad's my sister had some friends over and we all played a game of Mafia while Tanner dyed eggs with Granna & Papaw!!

Often times in all the hustle and bustle, we can easily forget the reason we celebrate Easter. We are so thankful that Jesus paid the ultimate price for us. Even before we were born he knew every sin we would commit, but He died for us anyway. Because he rose on the 3rd day, we've been given more grace and mercy than we ever deserve. We know that this holiday is more than Easter baskets and egg hunts and as a family, we consider it a priviledge to call ourselves Christians.
