Last December, Tanner had to have a breathing treatment. Scotty brought home a rhino mask because he thought it might help Tanner do better with the treatment. And he was right!! We couldn't get him to take off his "dinosaur mask"!!!
Here are some pictures of us working in the yard during March and April. We're not really used to having to keep up with a house and 3 acres!!!! I finally got Tanner to hold a bug and I'm thinking this may have been a poisonous one!!! Oh Well - he survived!!
And I like to work in the flower beds, but these are huge!! I filled all 10 of these bags with stuff from our beds!! Go me!! (This was obviously pre-preggers!!)
We'd talked about getting a wheel barrow and so this is what I got. This, however, is not at all what Scotty had in his mind. It's too small for 3 acres. Well I think it did a pretty good job of haulin'!!! I mean these pictures are clearly proof that I was in that yard kickin' butt and takin' names!!!! We just decided that this would be mine for the flower beds and he'd get a more manly one for the big stuff!!
The first time we really worked in the yard, we had to borrow his dad's zero turn, which meant we had to borrow a trailor from a friend to get it over here. (Thanks, Justin!!) So while we worked in the yard Tanner took a nap outside on the trailor and then played with his Little People when he woke up.
In May, we woke up one Saturday morning to find this in our driveway. Our youth group was doing a fundraiser with this flamingo named, Harold. At night you sneak him into somebody's yard and they had to give a donation to the youth group!! Tanner was pretty excited about Harold and didn't really like the fact that he couldn't come to live with us!!
