Time Out - The Good Kind

With our big move coming up, we knew things around our house were about to get super hectic. I knew that, out of anybody, Tanner would have the biggest adjustments to make so I wanted to make everything as smoothe and as fun as possible for him. We had been swamped with deciding what would go to the apartment, what would go to Scotty's parent's house and what would go into storage. We needed a time out - the good kind!!! A couple of days before we got our apartment in Tupelo, me & Tanner took a day just to do all the things he enjoyed.

After that we went to the playground.

Played in the Pirate Ship....

Climbed the stairs....

Slid down the slide....

Picked clover (or flowers, as he calls it)....

Went to see the ducks....

And even got to see BABY ducks....

And went to play in the gazebo where we spotted a snow cone stand!! We agreed that a wedding cake snow cone with extra cream would be a perfect for snack time!!!!

We sat in the front seat of the car (which Tanner loves to do) to eat our snow cone and then headed home. Tanner fell asleep in his carseat before we ever pulled out of the parking lot!! Guess he had a good day!!!
