Back On Track....Hopefully

In case you wondered if the Davis family vanished into thin air....we didn't!!! We've been so busy lately that time has just gotten away from me!! And we've had some computer problems so I'm terrified if I download all my pictures I'll lose them!! I could give you every excuse in the book about why I haven't kept the blog up to date so I'll save you that spill and just say,
"SHAME ON ME!!!"
I'll try to do better with it now!! So let me get you caught up!! This will BRIEFLY take you from November til now!!

Dad's Birthday Party Bonfire

I just had to show off Tanner's shoes!!

We stopped by Kellie's office to see her and her family so they could get some time in with Tanner!! Morgan was still cookin' in there!!

We stopped by Bass Pro Shop so Tanner could meet up with his cousins!!

We went to Kellie's baby shower and her mother-in-law made the best sugar cookies ever!! Isn't Kellie so cute?

This was Tanner's 1st Thanksgiving and I think he had a blast!!

We came home early to do Thanksgiving with my family since we were going to Gatlinburg with Scotty's family!!
We made the trip to Gatlinburg for the holidays and had such a great time!! Tanner made the 12 hour road trip like a champ!! I think he's gonna like to travel!!

Here we are in Ober Gatlinburg just taking in all the mountain views!!

Every time me and Scotty are in Gatlinburg we always go eat at Flapjack's!! It's our tradition and this was the first time we got to take Tanner!!

A few weeks later we came back to Jackson and took Tanner to his first Christmas parade!!
Santa came to the Christmas party at Scotty's clinic so of course Tanner had his picture made with him!! HO HO HO!!!
The night before Christmas me and Tanner made brownies for Santa and left them out on the special snowman plate with a glass of milk!! We had high hopes that Santa would enjoy them!!

And we're pretty sure he did because on Christmas morning Tanner had a letter from Santa, a stocking filled to the brim (that was just as big as him) AND........

And a Radio Flyer wagon that came from Tupelo Hardware, the place where Elvis got his first guitar!! Isn't that special?

We rang in the New Year with a party at the Ostrander's house!! Our 1st one as a family!!

A few weeks later the boys decided they wanted to go camping and me and Angie were due for some girl time so we decided to have a slumber party with the kids!! Her mother-in-law kept Tanner and Emily while we went to dinner and a movie!! The next morning Tanner and Emily were so excited when they found each other!!

Angie's in-laws have really taken us in like family and we appreciate them so much!! Tanner loves to stay with K and Big Daddy, his Tupelo grandparents!!

Our friend, Nick, that went to Med School with Scotty came to stay with us when he interviewed here in Tupelo!! We're so glad him and Tanner got to finally meet!!

One of the best things about being a stay at home mom is you get to experience a lot of firsts!! I sat Tanner down to play not thinking he'd be able to do it, but he showed me!! This was the first time he ever sat up by himself to play!!
It wasn't long after that when Tanner started playing all the time!! What a big boy!!

Me and Angie decided to use the gift certificates our friend Ginger gave us and go get a pedicure, but.....
We had to leave the kids with Brad!!! We were nervous, but we had faith!! Especially since his mom was walking through the door as we were leaving!!!

Kellie finally had her baby and when we went to Jackson for Scotty to do some interviewing we got to meet Morgan Elizabeth Mathis for the first time and she was BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Scotty's brother, Adam, asked his girlfriend, Kristen, to marry him!! F.Y.I: they met at our wedding!! Just think....if I hadn't gotten my bling, she wouldn't have gotter hers!!!

Now Kristen will have 3 sisters instead of just 1!!

On Valentine's Day we went to Cracker Barrel for Brunch and then we had a day at the Park!!

We had the best day!!

After we got home we gave Tanner all his Valentine's presents and he loved them!!
We love you Tan Man!!
We took Edie to PetSmart to clip her nails and she loved riding in the buggie with her Brother!!

For Christmas my Granny always puts pickles in our stockings. I love the "sour face" kids make when they eat these types of foods!! So Christmas day we did it to Tanner to watch his face...it was hilarious!! But if you do it all the time they get used to it!! Obviously pickles don't phase Tanner anymore!! Now he just loves to eat them with his dad!!

Granny came to spend a week with us and Tanner, needless to say, he was spoiled by the time she left!! We did lots of fun stuff while she was here. And this picture was taken on the front porch of the house where Elvis was born!!

It snowed one day while she was here!! This was Tanner's first snow so of course we had to pull him around in his wagon!!

Hope you enjoyed getting caught up on what's been going on with us!! I'll try to stay on top of things from here on out!!
