A Blog From the Davis's: December 2011

Eventhough there's a lot of pictures on this post, I stole most of them!! I was so fat and pregnant that I hardly snapped any pictures and I'm so kickin' myself for it. But here's what I've got!!

I didn't go all out with the decorations this year just because I would give birth 4 days after Christmas and really wasn't counting on makin' it that far...but I did!! Here's the sweetest little helper I know!! This boy loves some Christmas!!

So Hillcrest has this thing called Holly Jolly Workshop for the kids each year. They set up in the Library and each class comes in at a certain time to get there Christmas shopping done for all their loved ones. They send a sheet home for you to decide who all to shop for and a price range for each gift. Sidenote: We told Tanner ahead of time that the gifts he bought were surprises and he wasn't supposed to tell what they were. That little stinker would not spill the beans if his life depended on it!!! All of his friends made their parents open the gifts in the car rider line and Tanner brought his in the house and stuck them under the tree!!!! We literally had to wait until Christmas to open he sweet gifts. He bought me the most beautiful turquoise ring you've ever seen, Scotty got a coffee mug, Granna got a key ring, Pa got a coffee mug, Mimi got tissues, and PopPop got a mug. They said he picked them out all by himself!!! Makes my heart smile!!! I sent Tanner's sheet and money to school and told his teacher that I'd put some extra in there in case he found something he just couldn't live without!! He JUST COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT THESE!!!!

Eventhough you didn't get a stocking (you hafta be married!!!! Engaged does not count!!) this year, maybe the Christmas socks made up for it!!! Love ya mean it!!!
