On August 19th, Tanner turned TWO!! It's so hard to believe that he's not a baby anymore, but we had such a good time celebrating!!! His birthday fell on a Thursday this year, which was a school day for him. We started off with a party at school, dinner at Chic-fil-A and then his big boy party at the park!! Needless to say, this little man had a great 2nd Birthday!!! I just wanna go ahead and apologize for one thing. Birthday parties are so hectic no matter how well you plan, and I tried to make sure I had a picture of Tanner with every person at his party and when I got home and looked through them I didn't. So I'm very sorry!! I'll do better next year!!

We decided to meet the family at Chic-fil-A for a Birthday dinner. Tanner was so exhausted from all the fun he had on his big day that he fell asleep in the car on the way. I even kept talking to him and shaking his leg and he just couldn't keep his eyes open!! We weren't sure if he was gonna wake up, but when he did he was SOOO excited!! Here he is mid-jump!!

After we left Chic-fil-A, we had a few gifts for Tanner to open. He loves these balls and it very easy for him to catch!!

Tanner's big thing right now is going to the "pay-gwoun" (playground) and Little Einsteins so we thought it would be perfect to have his party at the park with all things Leo!! When he saw this he was in Heaven!!
Here is his AMAZING (if I do say so myself) birthday cake!!! Can you guess who made this? Well, I'll tell you!! Me and Betty Sue (Scotty's mom)!!! She used to make cakes for a living so she knew exactly what to do and I learned so much from her!! We had a trial run a few days before and definitely learned what not to do!! But there's no way Tanner would've had his Rocket cake without her!!! Thanks, Mimi!!
And what's a party without cupcakes?!?! Tanner didn't make these and I can't take credit for them either, but I did make the picks for them!! It's hard to find Little Einsteins decor so we had to be creative!!
