Partners In Crime

The other night Ben & Nicole Kilman had us and some other folks over to eat dinner. All the girls were sitting at the table chatting while....gasp....the boys were watching the kids!!!! Well apparently they got a little sidetracked. All of a sudden Scotty went to check on the kids. He found them in the bathroom, came back and was like, "Ya'll have got to come see this!!" We dash into the bathroom and this is what we found:

They had put toy cars and a fireman's hat in the toilet and were having a good ole time!!

Here's the guilty party!! For some reason Tanner's not phased!!

Beach Trip

In September we went to the beach for the second time this summer with our friends, the Sweeney's and the Crosswhite's. We had so much fun with them and it was such a great way to let the summer go out with a bang!! Here's a few (well, a lot!!) of pictures!!

Tanner thought the suitcase was magic and that this was all you had to do to go to the beach!! He was ready!!

We stayed at the same resort as last time - The Beach Club in Orange Beach, AL, and here's what our condo looked like!! We love staying here!!


It always cracks me up that the speed limit is 17!! Who does that?
Every morning me, Scotty, and Tanner ate breakfast on the balcony!! Obviously this was one of Tanner's favorite things to do!!

Last time Tanner just slept the whole time, but this time you couldn't turn your head for 2 seconds or he would head straight to the ocean!! He LOVES the beach!!

He would take naps though and didn't mind that it was a little drafty!!

The only thing Tanner loves more than being at the beach is having Emily there as his partner in crime!! She liked the sand much better this go round!!

Somebody's super excited!!

Scotty would take Tanner out in the water and let the waves crash on him and he LOVED it!! He wasn't scared a bit!!

In between waves Daddy would let him splash in the ocean!!

Tanner would've sat right here all day and just let the water crash up on him!! I had to force him to get under the umbrella so he wouldn't get burned!! I really can't tell you how long we sat here and he never got tired of it!!

Since Tanner loves the beach so much we got him his very own beach chair and what'd'ya know...he LOVED it!!

I had to take this picture, because if anybody knows Scotty you can tell exactly where he's been because he leaves a trail of open cabinets. I walked into the kitchen of the condo and Tanner was leaving his own trail!!

On our last night we stayed at the beach a little longer to take some fun pictures and play!!

After a day at the beach we worked up an appetite so we went to The Shrimp Basket!! Yummy!!

Then we went to the souvenier shop, the one where you walk through the shark mouth to go inside. Here's Tanner & Emily on the shark's fin!!

The next day before we left we took one last balcony picture.

We've made it our tradition that every time we go to Orange Beach we MUST eat at Lambert's on the way out of town. And this time we discovered how much Tanner loves sweet tea!

And this is what happens when you take it away!!

So for the sake of the other people in the restaurant, we gave it back!!

Then he got a major sugar rush and started actin' a fool!! (a very cute fool!!)

We had so much fun and can't wait to go back!!

Grass - a - Phobia

Tanner hates grass. That's so funny to me though because he's such a boy!! I guess it's the texture or something? I'm not really sure but all I know is he can't stand it. Usually when he's pushing a toy and it goes into the grass he'll just leave it and go play with something else. This day was a whole different story!! He was not gonna abandon ship!! He got this four-wheeler for his birthday and is obsessed with it!! You push buttons to rev the engine and play music and he'll do it all day!! These pictures are in order so its kinda like a little cartoon!! Really funny!!

He accidentally pushes the four-wheeler into the grass.

Retracts that thought and tries to pull it back.

The four-wheeler won't budge so he goes to it and then realizes what he's just done.

Can't handle it and decides its time to mount up!

Gets stuck.

Tries to readjust.

Over the handle bars.

Looks up for help and finds his mother dying out laughing!!

Edie comes to the rescue.

Then he decides it's not too bad after all and plops right down!!
