Scotty's Graduation

After 11 years of school and training Scotty graduated from his Family Medicine Residency on June 25, 2010. With this being his last graduation, it was bittersweet. One chapter in our lives closed as the next one was ready to open. I met Scotty when he was going into his second year of medical school. So our entire relationship has been centered around his dream of becoming a doctor. It's been a long road, but I'm so glad we went down it together, and that Tanner joined us along the way!! Scotty worked so hard and was dedicated not only to his job, but to his patients and family. Me and Tanner are so proud of him for all his accomplishments and could not happier that his dream is coming true. Scotty has joined the Baptist Medical Clinic in Byram and is very excited about the start of his career. I hope you enjoy these pictures from his LAST graduation!!

Our families were able to join us for the occasion so we met at Harvey's to eat before the ceremony.

Thankfully Tanner fell asleep on Pa at the restaurant. I was a little worried about how he'd do since graduation was right in the middle of naptime!!

being the professionals that they are, they kept their cool about the situation.

After leaving graduation, we all went back to the apartment for cake and icecream to celebrate. Then we loaded up my family's cars with some of our stuff to take down to Jackson.
